- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp brown sugar syrup
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract optional
Cold Brew
- 1 cup cold brew coffee
- 1-2 tsp brown sugar syrup
- ice cubes
Make the brown sugar syrup if you don't already have it. Make the brown sugar cold foam. Add milk, heavy cream, brown sugar syrup, and vanilla extract, then froth until thick and airy. Fill a tall glass with ice.
Pour cold brew coffee over the ice. Stir in 1–2 teaspoon brown sugar syrup.
Spoon or pour the brown sugar cold foam over the coffee.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired and serve immediately
- Start with 1 teaspoon of brown sugar syrup and add more if you prefer a sweeter drink. The foam already contains brown sugar, so a little syrup goes a long way.
-
For a stronger drink, use coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice so the coffee doesn’t become diluted.
-
Oat milk can be used instead of dairy milk for a dairy-free brown sugar cold foam, though the texture may be slightly lighter.
-
Store leftover brown sugar syrup in the refrigerator for up to one week in a sealed container.
