Nutella Whipped Coffee (Nutella Dalgona)

Nutella Dalgona is a creamy whipped coffee with Nutella for a rich, chocolate hazelnut twist. Works as both an iced or hot drink and feels like a café-style treat you can easily make at home.

Equipment

  • 1 frother or hand mixer

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1-2 tbsp Nutella
  • ice for the iced version

Instructions
 

  • Combine instant coffee, sugar, and hot water.
  • Whisk using a hand whisk or mixer until the mixture becomes thick and fluffy.
  • Add the Nutella to the milk and stir or froth until fully dissolved. You can heat the milk to help Nutella dissolve faster.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour in milk and Nutella mixture (or heat milk for a hot version).
  • Spoon the whipped coffee mixture on top of the milk and Nutella.
  • Stir before drinking to combine all the flavors.

Notes

  • Use instant coffee only for the proper whipped texture.
  • Warm the Nutella slightly if it’s too thick to mix.
  • Adjust sweetness by using less Nutella or switching milk types.
  • Add espresso to the milk for a stronger coffee flavor.
  • Best enjoyed immediately, but the whipped mixture can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
