Lavender Syrup (makes about ½ cup):

- 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender
Matcha
- 1–1½ tsp matcha powder
- 2-3 tbsp hot water

- 1-2 tbsp lavender syrup
Make the lavender syrup
In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and lavender. Bring to a simmer, stir until sugar dissolves, and simmer for 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep 10–15 minutes. Strain and cool.
