As soon as the leaves start changing, I go straight into pumpkin mode, and that includes my coffee.
I’ve tested all kinds of pumpkin recipes using my Nespresso machine, and these are my absolute favorites. Some are creamy, some are spiced, and a few are a little unexpected, but they all bring serious fall vibes.

I usually reach for pods like Melozio, Bianco Doppio, or Pumpkin Spice Cake (if you can find it!).
Whether you’re using a Vertuo or Original machine, there’s a cozy pumpkin drink here that’s easy to make and even easier to sip. Let’s jump into my go-to Nespresso pumpkin drinks!
1. Classic Pumpkin Spice Latte

When pumpkin season rolls around, this is always the first thing I make.
I brew a Nespresso Bianco Doppio pod (Melozio works too) over 1 tablespoon of pumpkin purée and a dash of pumpkin pie spice.
I stir in a spoonful of brown sugar while it’s hot, then add steamed milk, usually oat or whole milk. Frothing it with the Nespresso Aeroccino makes it extra cozy.
I top it with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon if I’m feeling fancy.
What I love about this recipe is how simple it is to tweak. You can use more spice, less sugar, or even a flavored syrup like maple or vanilla.
2. Iced Pumpkin Cream Coffee

Some fall mornings are still warm, and this iced pumpkin coffee is the perfect bridge between summer and sweater weather.
I brew a Nespresso Melozio pod right over ice. It holds up well and has a smooth flavor that balances the pumpkin.
In a separate cup, I whisk together ¼ cup milk, 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée, 1 teaspoon maple syrup, and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice.
I froth that mixture cold (with a hand frother or by shaking it in a jar), then slowly pour it over the iced coffee.
The foam floats on top and gradually sinks in, so each sip is creamy and spiced without being overwhelming. It feels like a fancier version of the Starbucks drink, but I can make it at home in five minutes.
3. Pumpkin Spice Flat White

If you like your drinks strong but still cozy, a pumpkin flat white is where it’s at.
I usually use the Nespresso Bianco Piccolo pod, but Il Caffè also works if you want something bolder.
I brew the espresso and then steam about ¼ cup of milk with 1 teaspoon of pumpkin purée, a pinch of pumpkin pie spice, and a drizzle of brown sugar or maple syrup.
Once the milk is frothed and warm, I pour it over the shot and swirl it gently. It’s smooth and a little creamy, but still has that concentrated espresso feel.
What I really like about this one is how it’s not too sweet. It has just enough pumpkin flavor without covering up the coffee.
4. Pumpkin Maple Latte

This Nespresso pumpkin recipe feels like fall in a mug.
I brew a Nespresso Colombia pod because it has a bit more acidity, which pairs really nicely with the sweetness of maple syrup.
In a small saucepan, I heat ¾ cup of milk with 1 tablespoon of pumpkin purée, 1 teaspoon of maple syrup, and a dash of pumpkin pie spice. Once it’s warm and slightly frothy, I pour it over the espresso shot and stir gently.
The maple and pumpkin work so well together. It’s sweet but earthy, and the coffee keeps it grounded.
5. Pumpkin Cold Brew with Sweet Foam

This Nespresso pumpkin coffee takes a little planning, but it’s worth it.
I brew an espresso pod like Ice Leggero and chill it), then add just a splash of milk or water depending on how strong I want it.
For the pumpkin foam, I froth ¼ cup of cold milk with 1 tablespoon of pumpkin purée, 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup, and a tiny pinch of pumpkin spice.
It turns into this creamy layer that floats right on top of the coffee. The contrast of cold, bold brew with the soft pumpkin topping is so good.
6. Pumpkin Cinnamon Cappuccino

This coffee smells like fall before you even take a sip.
I start with a Nespresso Volluto or Fortado pod, depending on how strong I want it. While it brews, I heat and froth ½ cup of milk with 1 teaspoon pumpkin purée, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and just a bit of honey or brown sugar.
Once the coffee is ready, I pour the milk over it and finish it with a light sprinkle of cinnamon on the foam. The cinnamon brings out the pumpkin flavor without overpowering the coffee, and the honey gives it just the right sweetness.
7. Pumpkin Mocha Latte

I had no idea chocolate and pumpkin would go so well together until I tried this.
I brew a Nespresso Cocoa Truffle pod, but you can also use a regular espresso like Napoli and add your own chocolate syrup. In a small mug, I mix 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée with 1 teaspoon cocoa powder and ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice.
I add a shot of espresso and stir until smooth. Then I top it with steamed milk and a little whipped cream. Sometimes I shave a few chocolate curls on top if I’m feeling extra.
It’s cozy and rich without being too sweet, and I like serving it when friends come over because it feels a little different. It’s a fun way to change things up from the usual pumpkin latte.
8. Pumpkin Spice Cortado

This is my “quick but still fancy” fall drink.
I use the Nespresso Il Caffè for a bold espresso base. In a separate cup, I mix 1–2 teaspoons of sweetened condensed milk with a tiny bit of pumpkin purée and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice.
Then I steam about ¼ cup of milk and add it all together over the espresso shot. It’s creamy, rich, and has just enough pumpkin flavor to make it interesting.
Because it’s a small drink, it’s not too heavy, which is nice when I don’t want a full-on latte.
It’s also a fun option if you want to introduce someone to pumpkin coffee without overwhelming them.
9. Pumpkin Spiced Vanilla Iced Latte

For this Nespresso coffee, I like using the Nespresso Vanilla Éclair pod because it already has a soft vanilla flavor that blends perfectly with pumpkin.
I brew it directly over ice, then mix in 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée, ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and a splash of vanilla syrup. I top it with chilled milk—usually oat or almond—and give it a quick stir.
It tastes like a lighter version of a pumpkin latte with a vanilla twist. I reach for this one when I’m craving something iced but want to stay in that fall flavor zone.
It’s super easy to make and doesn’t feel too sweet or too heavy. Great for late September afternoons when the sun’s still out but my brain says it’s October.
10. Pumpkin Honey Oat Latte

I use the Nespresso Orafio pod for a nutty, roasted base for this coffee. The pod pairs perfectly with oats and pumpkin.
While it brews, I warm ¾ cup oat milk with 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée, ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and a teaspoon of honey. I froth the mixture and pour it over the espresso. It comes out smooth, lightly sweet, and super comforting.
The oat milk adds a natural creaminess, and the honey brings everything together without feeling sugary. It’s one of those drinks I make when I want something mellow and relaxing—like on a slow Sunday morning or when I’m curled up with a book.
I think the oat flavor really highlights the pumpkin in a natural way, which makes this one stand out from the usual latte lineup.
11. Pumpkin Chai Espresso Latte

When I want something with more spice and depth, this pumpkin chai espresso combo always hits.
I brew a Nespresso Napoli pod for a bold espresso, then steep a chai tea bag in about ½ cup of hot milk for a few minutes.
After removing the tea bag, I stir in 1 tablespoon of pumpkin purée and a teaspoon of maple syrup, then froth the spiced milk and pour it over the espresso. It’s bold, spiced, and has a little kick that makes it different from a regular latte.
The chai adds cinnamon, ginger, and clove flavors that blend right into the pumpkin, and it smells incredible.
I love making this one in the afternoon when I need a second wind. It feels like fall in a cup with a little extra something. It’s not your average coffee shop drink—and that’s what makes it special.
12. Pumpkin Salted Caramel Latte

This Nespresso coffee is sweet, cozy, and a little indulgent. It’s the kind of drink I make when I want a treat.
I brew a Nespresso Golden Caramel pod. While it brews, I heat ¾ cup milk with 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée, a pinch of pumpkin spice, and a drizzle of salted caramel sauce.
Once everything’s warm and combined, I froth it and pour it over the coffee. I usually finish with more caramel on top and a few flakes of sea salt if I’m feeling dramatic.
It’s sweet and rich, but the pumpkin keeps it grounded. The salted caramel brings out the depth in the espresso while adding that dessert-like flavor. I like making this when I need a little pick-me-up that feels like a fall dessert in drink form. It’s one of my favorite afternoon sips.
13. Pumpkin Hazelnut Iced Latte

For something a little nutty and totally fall-friendly, I turn to this iced pumpkin hazelnut drink.
I brew a Nespresso Hazelnut pod over ice. Its hazelnut flavor is mellow and smooth. Then I shake together 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée, ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and a bit of hazelnut syrup with about ½ cup milk.
I pour that mixture over the espresso and ice, and it blends into this creamy, nutty, spiced drink that’s sweet but not overpowering.
If I want it a little fancier, I top it with cold foam or just a quick froth of the milk mixture before pouring. I think the hazelnut gives the pumpkin something to play off of—it’s a really satisfying combo.
I reach for this one when I’m in the mood for iced coffee with serious fall vibes but still want something light and smooth.
14. Pumpkin Espresso Macchiato

This one’s quick, small, and strong. It’s exactly what I want when I’m running out the door but still want that pumpkin moment.
I brew a Nespresso Ristretto or Diavollito pod into a small glass. Then I froth ¼ cup milk with 1 teaspoon pumpkin purée, a little sugar, and a pinch of spice.
I spoon just a bit of that pumpkin milk foam right on top of the espresso, so it sits like a cloud. The flavor is bold, slightly sweet, and just enough pumpkin to feel like a fall treat without committing to a full latte.
It’s also great if you’re watching your milk or sugar intake but still want something seasonal.
15. Pumpkin White Mocha

For this pumpkin Nespresso drink, I brew a Nespresso Chiaro pod (or go for Bianco Doppio if I want it stronger).
While that’s going, I heat ¾ cup milk with 1 tablespoon pumpkin purée, 1 teaspoon white chocolate chips (or white chocolate syrup), and a pinch of pumpkin spice.
Once it’s all melted and warm, I froth it and pour it over the espresso. I top it with whipped cream and sometimes a few white chocolate shavings.
It’s sweet, creamy, and almost like a pumpkin-flavored hot chocolate with espresso running through it.
It’s rich, so I usually save it for when I’m really in the mood for something sweet. If you like white mocha drinks, this pumpkin twist is a must-try.
