Nespresso latte recipes

I’ve gone down the Nespresso rabbit hole—and I have no regrets.

As someone who starts every morning with a latte, my Nespresso machine has become a non-negotiable part of my kitchen.

I’m not trying to become a full-on barista at home, but I do love experimenting with different pods, syrups, and milk combos until I find something I can’t stop making.

These aren’t complicated or fancy recipes—just the cozy lattes I actually drink during the week (and sometimes twice in a day).

If you’ve got a Nespresso machine and five minutes, you can make every single one.

What You Need to Make a Latte with Nespresso

To make a true latte with your Nespresso machine, you’ll need two things:

  • A Nespresso machine that can brew espresso or lungo shots
  • A way to froth and heat milk (because Nespresso machines don’t include this unless you have a model with a built-in frother)

I use the Nespresso Aeroccino, which is a separate milk frother that works with any Nespresso machine.

It’s super easy—you just pour in your milk, press a button, and it froths hot or cold depending on what you want.

If you don’t have an Aeroccino, you can use:

  • A handheld milk frother (budget-friendly and works well for light foam)
  • A French press (yes, really—you can pump warm milk in it to froth it!)
  • Or heat the milk on the stove and whisk it like crazy

For lattes, I usually use about half a cup of milk, and I prefer it lightly frothed so it’s creamy but not overly airy (save that for cappuccinos).

Oat milk (barista-style) or whole milk froths best, in my experience.

Once you’ve got your espresso brewed and your milk frothed, just pour it in—and you’ve got a latte.

15 Delicious Nespresso Latte Recipes

1. Vanilla Oat Milk Latte with Bianco Doppio Pod

Nespresso latte recipes
Source: @naturesfaremarkets

If you want something creamy and smooth that doesn’t feel heavy, this is the latte I reach for most mornings.

The Bianco Doppio pod is perfect for this kind of drink—it’s already made to be mellow and blend beautifully with milk.

I brew the pod directly into a mug while I warm up my oat milk on the stove or in the microwave. Then I add just a splash of vanilla syrup—not too much, or it takes over the whole drink.

I use my Nespresso Aeroccino to froth the milk (barista-style oat milk foams best) and pour it right over the espresso.

The texture is velvety, and the vanilla softens everything without making it too sweet.

If you like coffee drinks that lean cozy and café-style but don’t require measuring five ingredients, this one’s for you.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Bianco Doppio capsule
•Milk: ½ cup oat milk (barista-style recommended)
•Syrup: 1 tsp vanilla syrup

Instructions

1. Brew Bianco Leggero into a mug.
2. Heat and froth oat milk.
3. Add vanilla syrup.
4. Pour milk over espresso and stir.

2. Iced Caramel Latte with Freddo Delicato Pod

caramel nespresso latte recipe
Source: @thecoffeegirly

This is the drink that convinced me I could stop buying iced lattes at coffee shops.

The Freddo Delicato pod was made for this—it’s smooth, subtle, and designed to be poured over ice without tasting watered down.

I fill a tall glass with ice and brew the pod directly on top. Then I drizzle caramel syrup down the sides (yes, mostly for the look) and add a little extra to the bottom for that sweet base.

I use oat milk or 2% depending on what I have, and froth it cold. I’ve tried this with almond milk too, but oat just works better here.

This one hits the sweet spot between refreshing and indulgent, and I make it almost daily during summer.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Freddo Delicato capsule
•Milk: ½ cup cold milk (oat or 2%)
•Syrup: 1–2 tsp caramel syrup
•Optional: 1 tsp vanilla syrup

Instructions

1. Fill a glass with ice.
2. Brew pod directly over ice.
3. Drizzle in caramel syrup.
4. Froth milk cold, pour in, and stir.

3. Pumpkin Spice Latte with Diavolitto Pod

Source: @aziendaagricolairis

This is what I crave the second I feel a breeze that even reminds me of fall.

The Diavolitto pod is bold, rich, and strong enough to hold up to all the cozy pumpkin spice flavors.

I brew the pod as a double espresso, then stir in about a tablespoon of pumpkin puree, a little maple syrup or brown sugar, and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

I steam milk separately and froth it until it’s nice and creamy. Once everything’s mixed together, it has that comforting, fall-in-a-cup feel without being overly sweet.

You can top it with whipped cream and more spice if you’re feeling extra, but honestly, I usually don’t even need it—it’s that good.

It’s like a PSL but less syrupy and more homemade, which I love.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Diavolitto capsule
•Milk: ½ cup steamed milk
•Add-ins: 1 tbsp pumpkin puree, 1 tsp maple syrup or brown sugar, ¼ tsp pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

1. Brew espresso and pour into a mug.
2. Stir in pumpkin, sweetener, and spice.
3. Froth milk and pour on top.
4. Top with whipped cream (optional).

4. Honey Lavender Iced Latte with Volluto Pod

Source: @chamgiel

I never thought I’d be into floral coffee, but this one changed my mind.

The Volluto pod has a soft, slightly fruity profile that plays surprisingly well with lavender.

I keep a homemade honey lavender syrup in the fridge (just simmer honey, water, and a pinch of dried lavender, then strain), but you can also buy it ready-made.

I brew the Volluto pod directly into a glass with ice, then add a tablespoon of the syrup and stir it right into the warm coffee so it dissolves evenly.

Then I top it with cold-frothed milk—oat milk works really well for this, but almond is nice too if you want it lighter.

It tastes like something you’d get at a boutique café for $8, but it’s way easier than it sounds. If you want to try something that feels a little fancy but is still super easy, this iced latte is worth it.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Volluto capsule
•Milk: ½ cup cold milk (oat or almond)
•Syrup: 1 tbsp honey lavender syrup

Instructions

1. Brew espresso over ice.
2. Stir in honey lavender syrup.
3. Cold-froth milk and pour in.
4. Stir gently and enjoy.

5. Chocolate Hazelnut Latte with Livanto Pod

Nespresso latte recipes
Source: @busybeenutritiontx

This Nespresso latte tastes like Nutella in latte form. That’s exactly why I make it when I want something comforting and dessert-like.

I use the Livanto pod because it has a natural caramel and cereal flavor that blends well with chocolate and hazelnut.

While the espresso brews, I stir about a teaspoon of chocolate hazelnut spread (like Nutella) into the hot coffee. It melts right in and turns the espresso into something decadent.

I steam some milk—whole milk works best for this one—and froth it to layer on top. Sometimes I finish it with a little grated chocolate or crushed hazelnuts if I’m feeling extra, but even without that, it’s a cozy drink that feels like a reward.

I wouldn’t drink this every day, but it’s my go-to when I want something rich and cozy in the afternoon.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Livanto capsule
•Milk: ½ cup steamed whole milk
•Add-in: 1 tsp chocolate hazelnut spread
•Optional: Shaved chocolate or crushed hazelnuts

Instructions

1. Brew espresso into a mug.
2. Stir in hazelnut spread until melted.
3. Steam and froth milk, then pour over.
4. Garnish if desired.

6. Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cortado with Fortado Pod

Nespresso recipes
Source: @cornercoffeempls

When I want something strong but not bitter, I make this cortado-style drink.

The Fortado pod is intense and rich and it’s got enough punch to stand up to a little sweetness and spice.

I brew it as a single shot and pour it into a small glass. Then I stir in about a teaspoon of brown sugar and just a pinch of cinnamon.

I use equal parts espresso and steamed milk for a true cortado feel, so it’s less milky than a latte but still smooth and balanced.

I skip the froth on this one and just heat the milk gently—it works better when it’s silky rather than airy.

It’s bold, a little spicy, and somehow still comforting. This is the one I make when I need a caffeine boost but don’t want a huge drink.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Fortado capsule
•Milk: ¼ cup steamed milk
•Add-ins: 1 tsp brown sugar, pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

1. Brew espresso into a small glass.
2. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon.
3. Steam milk and pour in equal amount.
4. Stir and sip while warm.

7.  Peppermint Marshmallow Latte with Arpeggio Pod

peppermint Nespresso latte recipes
Source: @marinaaa.richnerrr

This Nespresso Latte feels like a winter treat in a cup. It’s something I make when it’s cold outside and I want a dessert-y coffee but don’t feel like pulling out the cocoa mix.

The Arpeggio pod is bold and chocolatey, so it holds its own even with sweeter flavors like peppermint and marshmallow.

I brew the espresso and immediately stir in about a teaspoon of peppermint syrup. Then I steam some milk and top it with a spoonful of marshmallow fluff while it’s still hot so it melts just enough.

It turns the foam slightly gooey in the best way. You can also use mini marshmallows if that’s easier, but I’m partial to the fluff.

The combo of the peppermint and the strong espresso is so cozy, and the marshmallow adds a nostalgic little twist.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Arpeggio capsule
•Milk: ½ cup steamed milk
•Syrup: 1 tsp peppermint syrup
•Topping: 1 tbsp marshmallow fluff or mini marshmallows

Instructions

1. Brew espresso into a mug.
2. Stir in peppermint syrup.
3. Steam milk and pour over.
4. Top with marshmallow fluff while hot.

9. Maple Oat Milk Latte with Voltesso Pod

maple Nespresso latte
Source: @rhealsuperfoods

If you’re not a fan of super sweet lattes but still want something warm and cozy, this one hits the mark.

I love using the Voltesso pod for this—it’s mellow, lightly roasted, and naturally smooth, which makes it perfect with oat milk.

I brew the pod and stir in a teaspoon of real maple syrup while it’s still hot. You don’t need much—it adds just the right hint of richness without overpowering the espresso.

I steam oat milk (the barista versions are creamier) and pour it over the coffee. No need for froth on this one, unless you want to, but I usually just keep it simple and smooth.

This latte gives me weekend-morning vibes even on a Monday.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Voltesso capsule
•Milk: ½ cup steamed oat milk
•Syrup: 1 tsp pure maple syrup
•Optional: Sprinkle of cinnamon

Instructions

1. Brew espresso into a mug.
2. Stir in maple syrup.
3. Steam oat milk and pour in.
4. Dust with cinnamon if desired.

9. Salted Caramel Mocha with Golden Caramel Pod

salted caramel mocha Nespresso latte
Source: @buntcoffee

This one’s for when I want something rich and dessert-like but still with strong coffee flavor.

The Golden Caramel pod already has caramel notes, so it makes a perfect base. I brew the pod and stir in a teaspoon of chocolate syrup and a little pinch of sea salt—just enough to bring out the sweetness.

Then I steam milk (I like whole milk for this one to keep it creamy), froth it lightly, and pour it on top. I’ll sometimes drizzle more chocolate and caramel over the foam if I’m making it for guests or just feeling dramatic.

The salt adds a little depth, the chocolate makes it indulgent, and the espresso keeps it from being cloying.

It’s a little over the top in the best way—and honestly, more satisfying than most mochas I’ve paid for at a café.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Golden Caramel capsule
•Milk: ½ cup steamed milk
•Add-ins: 1 tsp chocolate syrup, pinch of sea salt
•Optional: Caramel + chocolate drizzle on top

Instructions

1. Brew espresso into a mug.
2. Stir in the chocolate syrup and salt.
3. Steam and froth milk, pour over.
4. Drizzle extra toppings if you like.

10. Classic Latte with Melozio Pod

Nespresso latte recipes
Source: @debragaita

This is the latte I make when I just want something simple, smooth, and satisfying—no syrups, no spices, just a really solid cup of coffee and milk.

The Melozio pod is ideal for that. It’s medium roasted, mellow, and has just a hint of natural sweetness that comes through without needing any extras.

I brew the pod as a double espresso, then steam about half a cup of milk until it’s hot and silky (not too frothy). I usually use 2% or whole milk for this one, but it works well with oat milk too if you want it dairy-free.

The balance between the espresso and milk is just right—not too strong, not too light. It’s the kind of drink I’ll sip while checking emails in the morning or when I need a reset in the afternoon.

If you’re new to Nespresso or just want a reliable everyday latte, this is the one to start with.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Melozio capsule
•Milk: ½ cup steamed milk (dairy or oat)

Instructions

1. Brew espresso into a mug.
2. Steam milk until hot and silky.
3. Pour milk over espresso and stir.
4. Sip and enjoy simplicity.

11. White Chocolate Strawberry Latte with Volutto Pod

Nespresso latte recipes
Source: @tastecafe154

This Nespresso latte is pure spring in a cup.

The Volutto pod is a great match for the creamy sweetness of white chocolate and the bright note of strawberry syrup.

I start by melting about a teaspoon of white chocolate chips into the hot espresso, then stir until smooth. Then I add a small splash of strawberry syrup (you don’t need much or it starts tasting like candy).

I steam the milk separately and froth it lightly before pouring it over the top. The result is light and creamy with a little fruity lift.

It reminds me of strawberry shortcake or one of those pastel lattes you see in cute cafes.

I like making this when I want something a little different from my usual, or if I’m making a latte to sip while reading on the porch.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Volutto capsule
•Milk: ½ cup steamed milk
•Add-ins: 1 tsp white chocolate chips, 1 tsp strawberry syrup

Instructions

1. Brew espresso and stir in white chocolate until melted.
2. Add strawberry syrup.
3. Steam and froth milk, pour on top.
4. Give it a swirl and enjoy.

12. Amaretto Spiced Latte with Ristretto Pod

Nespresso latte recipes
Source: @nespressousa

This latte has a cozy, nutty flavor that makes me think of sitting by a fireplace—even when it’s just a random Tuesday.

The Ristretto pod is intense and slightly roasted, so it cuts through the sweetness perfectly. I brew the pod and mix in about a teaspoon of amaretto syrup (or almond extract if I don’t have syrup, but just a drop).

Then I add a sprinkle of cinnamon and steam my milk until it’s creamy and warm. I like using whole milk here to keep the drink rich. You can froth it or not—it works either way.

The result has this warming, spiced flavor with a nutty edge that’s comforting.

If you like almond-flavored desserts or cozy holiday drinks, you’re going to be into this one.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Ristretto capsule
•Milk: ½ cup steamed whole milk
•Add-ins: 1 tsp amaretto syrup, dash of cinnamon

Instructions

1. Brew espresso into a mug.
2. Stir in syrup and cinnamon.
3. Steam milk and pour over.
4. Stir and sip warm.

13. Gingerbread Viennois with Roma Pod

gingerbread Nespresso latte
Source: @stacey_kitchen_ekss

The Roma pod has a slightly smoky and earthy flavor that makes a great base for the warm spices in gingerbread syrup in this latte.

I brew the espresso and stir in about a teaspoon of gingerbread syrup (store-bought works, but I’ve also made my own with molasses, brown sugar, and spices).

Then I steam some milk and pour it in slowly to keep the layers light.

What makes this one special is the Viennois-style topping—just a swirl of whipped cream on top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg.

It’s a little indulgent, but not too much. I make this when I want to feel festive, even if it’s just a quiet December afternoon.

It smells amazing and tastes like a cozy bakery drink without being too sweet.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Roma capsule
•Milk: ½ cup steamed milk
•Syrup: 1 tsp gingerbread syrup
•Topping: Whipped cream + cinnamon or nutmeg

Instructions

1. Brew espresso into a mug.
2. Stir in gingerbread syrup.
3. Steam milk and pour over.
4. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of spice.

14. Tiramisu Latte with Capriccio Pod

Tiramisu nespresso latte
Source: @takecarecafe

Tiramisu Latte is such a treat—like dessert and coffee rolled into one.

The Capriccio pod has a light bitterness and cereal note that pairs really well with tiramisu flavors. I brew the espresso and stir in just a little mascarpone-flavored syrup (or a mix of vanilla and coffee liqueur syrup if I don’t have any).

Then I top it with equal parts steamed milk and milk foam, cappuccino-style. The key is finishing it with a dusting of cocoa powder and a few chocolate shavings.

It’s not too sweet, and the foam gives it that creamy, dessert-like feel.

I usually make this one after dinner or on weekends when I want something that feels special without needing to bake.

It tastes fancy but takes five minutes, and that’s my kind of dessert.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Capriccio capsule
•Milk: ¼ cup steamed milk + foam
•Syrup: 1 tsp tiramisu or mascarpone-flavored syrup
•Topping: Cocoa powder + chocolate shavings

Instructions

1. Brew espresso into a small cup.
2. Stir in the syrup.
3. Add steamed milk and a layer of foam.
4. Dust with cocoa and chocolate.

15. Vanilla Ice Cream Sensation with Vanilio Pod

Nespresso latte recipes
Source: @ispillice

This latte one is pure indulgence. It’s half latte, half dessert, and I only make it when I want something over-the-top.

The Vanilio pod is smooth and vanilla-heavy, so it blends beautifully with vanilla ice cream. I brew the espresso and pour it right over one scoop of good-quality vanilla ice cream in a short glass.

It melts a little, softens the coffee, and turns into this rich, creamy swirl of flavor.

Then I top it off with a splash of steamed milk to round it out like an affogato-latte hybrid.

If I’m feeling extra, I’ll add a drizzle of caramel or a sprinkle of sea salt.

This is definitely not an everyday drink, but for slow weekend afternoons or impressing friends after dinner, it’s unbeatable.

Ingredients

•Pod: 1 Vanilio capsule
•Ice Cream: 1 scoop vanilla
•Milk: ¼ cup steamed milk
•Optional: Caramel drizzle or sea salt

Instructions

1. Place ice cream in a short glass.
2. Brew espresso over the top.
3. Add a splash of steamed milk.
4. Finish with toppings if desired.
